The terms that govern your use of CARE for Early Minds and the services we provide.
1. Using the service
By creating an account or using CARE's website, you agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects the rights, privacy and wellbeing of other users. You must not misuse the platform, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use it to send harmful, abusive or unlawful content.
2. Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. If you are completing an assessment on behalf of a child, you confirm that you have the authority to provide the information and to act on their behalf in relation to the service.
3. Child information and consent
The platform may collect sensitive information about children and families for the purpose of assessment, support planning and service delivery. We only process that information where you have provided valid consent, where it is necessary for the care and support we provide, or where other lawful grounds apply under the applicable data protection law.
4. Orders, payments and products
Products, courses and digital services may be offered for purchase via the website. Payment processing is handled by Stripe and is subject to Stripe's own terms and policies. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or amend orders where required for security, legal or operational reasons.
5. Intellectual property
The content and design of the website, including text, graphics, branding, course materials and software, are owned by CARE or its licensors. You may use the content only as expressly permitted in these terms and may not copy, distribute or republish it without permission, except where the law allows limited personal use.
6. No guarantees and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an “as is” basis. We aim to make the platform reliable and useful, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or appropriate for every child, family or purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for indirect, consequential or incidental losses arising from your use of the service.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service, legal requirements or operational needs. If a material change is made, we will make the new version available on this page and continue to apply the previous version to any activity completed before the change took effect.
